After lots of speculation about whether or how ChatGPT will change the essay process for college applications, it is out. The Common App is not changing their essay prompts. Individual colleges and universities may still be changing their school specific prompts, and we won’t know that until the new Common App rolls out on Aug 1. Individual schools may post their essays on their own admissions websites, so check there if you want to get ahead.
