Atalanta Advising Admissions Coaching successfully guides students through the college application process.
Would having a college admissions advisor help your family navigate the admissions process with greater organization, objective feedback, and less stress all around? Atalanta Advising's college admissions consulting services can help you with that!
Student and family visits will be held virtually or in person, depending on the circumstances.
Here are the initial steps you will go through with your college admissions coach:
1. Where are you in the process?
Give your coach what you already have, including a copy of your transcript, a list of extracurricular activities, a list of the standardized tests you have already taken (with scores), a practice essay if you have one, and a starter list of colleges you are interested in.
2. Where do you want to go?
After your coach reviews what you share, together you’ll do a college sort. What are the things unique about you that would affect your college list? Do you have a long-term interest? What would you like to study? What size school would you like to go to? Where? Are you an athlete? Interested in the Greek scene? Need a sunny beach nearby? Want to stay in your home state? Want to leave your home state? How would you describe yourself? What makes you uniquely you?
3. Making it happen!
Then we get down to business with a Common App account, practice essays, and a list of deadlines.
Goal 1 — Main sections of the Common App completed before school starts in the fall.
Goal 2 — All applications submitted before your fall semester finals begin.
